Globalisation has put pressure on European governments to reform their economies. Yet change has been slow. Unemployment has been at unsustainable levels for decades. Sweden and France have recently changed governments and signalled a new direction for policy.
What policy have and will emerge from the new governments in these two countries? How will the French and the Swedish model fare in increased global competition? At this lunch seminar on the recent elections in France and Sweden, Maria Rankka, President of Timbro, and Zaki Laïdi, Professor at Sciences Po in Paris, will provide an assessment of the latest developments in Sweden and France.
The number of seats at this seminar is limited.
