ECIPE Webinar: Globalisation isn’t Dying – it’s Changing: How the Digital Economy is Re-shaping Globalisation

June 09 2021
Venue: ZOOM Webinar
Speakers: Erik van der Marel
Time: 14:00

Join us for a conversation about data, regulations and new globalisation.

Globalisation isn’t dying, said Erik van der Marel in an important paper last year as everyone feared the Covid-19 crisis would throw us all into protectionism. Globalisation is changing – and has been doing so for more than a decade. But what does this entail for global competition, trade policy and regulations? What type of regulatory approach to data and data usage have been tested in the world – and what result do they have? Is there a model approach for regulating the new digital economy?
