With the launch of a new ECIPE report “Unleashing the internal data flows in the EU: An Economic Assessment of Data Localisation Measures in the EU Member States” that highlights the questions:

  • Why is a discipline against data localisation needed within the Single Market?
  • What are the economic gains from avoiding the of data localisation measures?
