Opportunities and obstacles in the digitalisation of governments.

What is the future of digital governance? The Estonian digital government has received considerable attention in global policy and research circles, but there have been recent challenges in digitalization of public sector governance. At this seminar, we will discuss building blocks and stumbling blocks in the digitalization of governance in Estonia, and explore if and how the evolution of Estonian digital governance can digital ambitions for other governments in Europe and in the world. Last but not least, alternative scenarios of potential future trajectories of digital governance will be tackled.
